Freaked out by my digital camera

Hi, I'm not sure where else to find an answer but here's the thing:
I've got a Sony Cyber-Shot 6.0 MegaPixel digital camera. I love it. It takes the most brilliant pictures with terrific clarity etc. I've taken quite a lot of pics with it, not had it long but took it on hols & I've taken some pics at home & it's great.
But... I took some pics on the weekend of my partners grandchildren, & they've completely freaked me out. 1 pic came out fine. The next is a little blurrey like the camera had shaken although he has a steady hand, the 3rd pic came out as though the kids had what I can only discribe as some kind of white/yellow aura around one side of them & the 4th pic, one of the kids are completely transparent like she's a ghost. I am completely freaked by it. I've taken some more pics since seeing these to test the camera & everything comes out brilliantly as normal.
Is there any explanation for these freaky pics or is this something from the twilight zone? I honest to God am totally freaked. I've examined these really close up on the PC & I can see no plausable explanation!

Perfectly normal, longer shutter speeds or light coming in through the lens and splitting. usually happens in darker or brighter situations.0

Thank goodness for that. That's a reasonable plausable explanation & here's me thinking all sorts of devilish things had happened!!! Thanks :-)
One quick addition: I am wondering why though, in the 4th picture, both of the kids are stood next to eachother yet only one of them is transparent & the other seems perfectly fine with no silhouette or 'aura'...0 -

Sorry, you're right - perhaps you have a freaky family and she's actually not human but a ghost. Or perhaps it's just the camera settings.0 -
I think it sounds like the supernatural at work here!
If the camera has previously always worked fine and you have not fiddled with the settings, maybe you have just looked into an alternate universe or something!!0 -
Any chance of posting the freaky picture?
I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for it, but I'd love to see it!0 -
Could be a low battery? My camera gives slightly iffy results when the battery is running low, even though the charge indicator says it's full!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0
