Hi guys
I think I'm being stupid but I'm having problems working out our energy consumption / costs per month etc.
Basically we are on Dual Fuel Click Energy 2 with British Gas. There has been a complete b*lls up over the past year with multiple online accounts and I'm 99% sure I signed up to Click Energy 4 previously but anyway..... BG website is very poor anyway.
Right we currently pay £48 by monthly dd for gas/electricity. Just got bill and we owe £40 on Gas and £100 on Electric. However they are putting the Gas upto £45 pm and leaving the electric as it is...... I'm confused here as surely it should be around the other way?
Right I thought I'll look at the comparision sites. They list either cost per month (so do I put our monthly figure plus the debt? or without the debt).
Alternatively you can enter consumption history in kwh. How do I get this figure?
For example historically our Gas Bills has the following reading from the Meter
4/7/07 = 5763
18/6/08 = 6113
If someone could explain this I would very much appreciate it
Cheers

Ah I thought it might have been low or high use or something.
I'll update the electricity details shortly and if you can tell me how to calculate them it would be much appreciated.0 -
Thanks mate.
Will double check figures with the missus later but actually think BG are the cheapest for me but need to move to Click Energy 5 and could save about £60
Still don't get why they want to move Gas from £23 to £45 but keep Electric at £25 when we owe them £100.0
