but it's cheaper to book with octopus0 -
We have stayed at the Anchor twice on trips to Dublin. It is pleasant, does a good breakfast, it is centrally located and it is on the 41 bus route from the airport.

I've had the pleasure of staying in Dublin 3 times. I spent valentines day there with my girlfriend a couple of years ago. Very comfortable and in a nice surrounding area, albeit a 20 minute walk toreach anywhere. Although at £89 per night it is a bit steep but my girlfriend really loved it. This Morning had it on a while ago rating it as one of the best hotels in dublin.
The other times I have been with friends and stayed Kinlay house, slap bang in the middle of everything. Very cheap and very comfortable. We met some really fun people there too. Hostel booker rates it quite highly too. A good hostel but if it's a holiday you might want something a bit less studenty.

We stayed at the Bewleys Hotel (which is near Lansdowne Road
), which was a 20ish minute walk from the city centre. Plenty of buses seemed to go that way, but it was such a gorgeous day that we HAD to walk.

It was a nice place to stay although in the car down I spotted Travellodge closer to Swords (lovely town within Dublin County, near airport) was advertising rooms at E69

we've paid £220 for 4 nights, and they're doing rooms from about 60 euros at the moment as a special offer.
