Cca Requests / Successes

hello again , as you know I have a thread for CCA request results . Now can I ask for your successes please .

After being hassled for months by a DCA , I requested a copy of the CCA . They closed the account and returned it to OC . The account was for around £7000 .
Comments can be posted on my other threads please .

Has no one had any success?
  • Is it really that simple if they (DCA) cannot supply a copy of original credit agreement then they cannot chase you?
Sounds so wonderfully simple, surely it not that easy?

If they cannot provide one they can't chase you and refer you back to the original creditor, but the original creditor can try there luck with other DCA or produce it. If thats a route you choose to go down you could be looking over your back for 6 years until it becomes unenforceable and it can still be on your credit history causing problems.
  • look ove ryour back ??? your not going to be bumped off a little perspective here , and as all cj df are removed after 6 years of which you are unable to credit , hence helping you back on the straight and narrow whats the problem your number one thats who you think about on all occasions.

Put it this way I have had to request a CCA when two DCA were chasing for the same debt (I am on a DMP) I got success saying neither had CCA and were referring back to original creditor, then I got a solicitor letter a few months later - no problem told them about the CCA request. The a few months later another DCA on the case and starting again - now I call that watching my back for 6 years.

This is not an easy solve all thing like people are making out on this board.
  • ok thanks for info will be interesting to await the sucess stories, may fire me up to get my debts sorted nice thread Stapeley

Great advice ignore a DCA and end up in court - wow priceless!
  • go to court interest is frozen etc etc etc hence why many creditors pass on to a dca to collect instead of going to court also if you have issues with any of your debts what is wrong with going to court to sort it out ???
yes im right it is great advice.
