Van hire UK / SPAIN

Can anyone point me in the direction of a van hire company,(Mercedes Sprinter etc.) that will allow me to drive from Lancashire to southern Spain, via the Plymouth / Santander ferry, for less than about £400 for the week?

My secondary question is about any discounts available on that Brittany ferry, I know that we are in the wrong forum here, but type is cheap. and you never know your luck!

Well as I don't live anywhere near you all I can suggest is look in the yellow pages and phone round

It will cost a lot though, van hire for all that mileage, euro insurance, diesel, return ferry fare (commercial vehicles cost more). The size of van is important too, a bigger van will carry more but use more diesel, probably cost more to hire and will cost more on the ferry (mainly length)

What dates have you in mind have a empty van going to Alicante from Bradford on 17th September
