Lloyds TSB Credit Cards - what DCA?

My debt with barclays had the same terms (review after 6 months) - I think it's a standard clause so they're not stuck with the same amount if things change.
However, I once had a thing with Rossendales where they suddenly turned up on the doorstep with no warning, and claimed it was because the 6 months were up on a debt I was paying off in installments, and the debt wasn't cleared (but on the payment agreed it was obvious it wasn't going to be). When I asked them to tell me where their letters mentioned 'have it cleared within 6 months' they went very quiet and let it carry on until paid.
Don't panic, and just keep paying it. They may contact you, they may be content to let it run. If they do contact you just send them your budget, and ask them to confirm the payment plan will continue as is. As it's with the bank, and not with Neckless Wonder Bullies like Rossendales I think they'll be happy with anything, rather than take it to court and risk getting less. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

            Thanks OberonSH!!
I feel more positive now - I think I will write to Lloyds TSB and say that I'm still not in a position to resume "normal" payments and I'll enclose my income & expenditure details and an offer (slightly higher?) than I'm paying now.
If anyone else here has any experiences of getting a credit card company to prolong payment plans then I'd be very grateful to hear from you.
Many Thanks.

Only offer them what you know you can afford. If that's exactly what you're paying now - ask them to confirm the payment plan will continue, and tell them there has been no change in your circumstances. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Any more of you guys got into trouble with a Lloyds TSB Credit Card?
Would like to know what there procedure is.... Do they pass onto a Debt Collection Agency? If so, what one do they use etc etc?
Really worried about this now so any info / experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks.

            Hi Lodge
We have a Lloyds TSB card for just under 6K. They havent been very helpful with us to be honest and have just sent us letters etc. Got one from their in house solicitors on Sat saying they "may" take legal action. I havent heard of them passing onto a DCA on here if that helps. Please try not to worry too much, I refuse to stress about them now. They have to do a CCJ first before a charging order in any case and they are unlikely to do a CCJ if you have already taken the initiative and done a payment plan as by doing a CCJ they wouldnt get much if any more money out of you if the amounts are realistic. I think we only pay about £20 a month or something with CCCS on a DMP. I think they have people who owe a lot more who try to avoid paying at all. Hope you feel a bit stronger soon
