Has anybody had any experience of having purchased a kitchen( units and appliances) from companies specialising in kitchens which have been used for display in showrooms etc. Some of them are two or three years old but in very good nick and seemingly at a fair ish price compared to new.

The lady on the phone was very nice. Ultimately, you are allowed to view it before you make a full commitment and you can make offers on the kitchens if you feel inclined.
My new kitchen we managed to secure black mirror Quartz worktops from B&Q - a rejected customer order, for £800 and a beautiful John Lewis kitchen, used for their brochure photoshoot, on ebay, for £500 - so far a saving of around £6500.
