Another vote for Dunlopillo. I have the 'serenity' ones and they're so comfortable! I think mine were £20.00 each, but I got them half price :j0

Have to agree with you Swan, we are big fans of Dunlopillo in this house too. We have a pair of very heavy, dense ones that are fabulous but when we ordered others online they were quite thin with no substance to them at all. They seem to have changed the names of them so I don't know which ones to get anymore.
I must go into a store so I can grope a few
Do you know of anywhere that stocks the full range?
Index/LX/Littlewoods used to have them, so you could send them back if they weren't suitable, but they don't seem to do them any more (like Argos)
I've been looking for somewhere that stocks them so I can check them out, but no joy ... will keep looking & will post if I'm successful
Quasar & foreign correspondent, those heavy dense Ikea pillows don't sound like the Dunlopillo ones at all
it's hard to describe latex foam pillows, they're soft but firm at the same time, I think the ones floyd's referring to are probably like my favourite ones, the firmness & density seems to depend upon the thickness of the foam, rather than having more stuffng in the same size case, so they're supportive without being hard
over the years I've replaced all of my old pillows with them, 8 between 2 of us (decadent, I do like lots of pillows to pile up) cost me an arm and a leg but it's been worth every single penny for the unrivalled comfort & longevity

Having tried different kinds of pillows in the past, I find 90% goosedown the best. Purchased mine via ebay a couple of years ago and they are still going strong. But I'm thinking of trying silk pillows once they have worn out. I will have to save up though!0

Dunlopillos for us too -expensive but worth it and they last for years. Had to replace OH's this year he'd had it since before I met him 1989.0

Can anyone post a link for the Dunlopillo I need to look out for?0

Yet another vote for Dunlopillo,we bought some latex ones years ago and they have never budged despite being washed several times. They cost us about £120 for the four but they have more than paid for themselves.0

Thank you all for the suggestions.
Unfortunately, I do have bad allergies, so feather and down probably aren't suitable.
However, Dunlopillo sound very good too. I'm going to check them out in a department store some time and see which one I like.0 -

I have had my foam pillow for a few years now and it washes realy well.:j
OH has got a £40 John Lewis duck down pillow and when it is washed it takes forever to dry, even in a tumble dryer:mad::hello: JULY G/C £50 WEEK
WEEK 1 = £69.50
WEEK 2 = £60.83:eek:
Week 3  £72.05 :mad:0 -
We were bought Dunlopillo pillows for a wedding present years ago and they were fantastic. We too have had problems finding replacements when they got very old (12 years!)
Would appreciate a link too if anyone has one as we couldn't track them down once Argos stopped selling them.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250
