I think there will be people taking advantage of this and winning again and again. I wonder if there are only 280 codes or whether new codes just keep coming?

I think 280 codes mustve gone by now so i reckon its just a random code generator which they would usually record at the other end for a win. But as they dont seem to be there it's just churning them out! Thought they wouldve had some1 there at all times so this is strange.

There's no way I can see them giving out all these camera's, they might honour the first few (until it became obvious there was a problem) or 1 per household/IP address but I think they have a get out at the bottom, see what you think, this is from their T&C's

After an Entrant submits an Entry they will be taken a new page. If this page has a green header (randomly decided by an automated process) ("Winners Page") the Entrant will be a winner ("Winner") and will be entitled to one of the Prizes set out at paragraph 14 below.




It says "the Entrant will be a winner ("Winner") and will be entitled to one of the Prizes set out at paragraph 14 below."

So this 'entitlement' will surely mean that we do win at least one camera each?
The 280 will have almost certainly gone, but hopefully microsoft will honour this competition.
Reading on the internet, the competition was used to boost traffic and support for live.com, so surely, they aren't going to jeopardize this venture?
The way I look at it, the bets way for them to save giving out too many cameras but also keeping the reputation, would be to give everyone that won, one camera. Realistically, we can't expect microsoft or Thin Martian to cough up, however many hundreds of extra cameras.....but hopefully......with a bit of luck.....we might just get a camera each!

I'm glad I just came here after that... I haven't been about since yesterday and I just "won" and then came here to find everyone else is getting the same.

needless to say, I filled in the claim form and I wait to hear whats going to be done!


edit: blimey, checking back through the thread, its been happening for 4 hours! thats atrociously bad! I really hope they do honour one each but hey, if they don't, I guess theres nothing we can do but complain.. I'll still be playing for the DSLR though tomorrow

why is it that whenever I go on this site the last person to win is at that very moment??
