and Johnny, I want to be a professional photographer actually, just hadn't decided on an SLR before now.. I've got a very fancy compact which takes great shots, and I've had a few published (dont have links to hand) and the D60 is perfect for me I have over 16gb of photos...

I get the feeling this competition will inspire many "photographers"

Not personally but my Grandad is so it wil be going to him if I win (although I doubt i will, having an unlucky patch at the mo) I think the DSLR deserves to go to keen photographers that will know how to work it to its best...

I would be happy with a coolpix for myself but I definately give up on that one!!
