moneyam - premier or advfn - bronze

I've tried the free offerings of moneyam and advfn, I now want to make use of some of the other features but I do not need real time prices etc, just some of the analysis tools and screening functions - advfn - bronze costs £60/year - or £40/year with discount from Robbie Burns - the nakedtrader, and moneyam - premier costs £55/year.

What are your experiences and what are the pros/cons of each site.

Cheers

I havent found either of the free sites you mention to be particularly good.

Which technical analysis tools are you looking for and for which markets?

Well, as they are free one cannot complain I guess, When I say TA tools I mean fund/share screening/ ranking etc. Charting, candlesticks, momentum carts would be abonus.

So you havent found moneyam or advfn particularly good - which sites would you use then?

    Thanks for your erply

Everyone is going to have a different opinion on which data feed/TA package they prefer. For me (in terms of free sites) I like digital look, I far prefer it to advfn, just due to the reason that I prefer the navigation, interface, and alerts they provide.

In regards to TA I use Sharescope. They offer a gold package which downloads data EOD for just £14 a month which I feel is good value; has data on most UK stocks, commodities, IT's, UT's, indices. I use this for my more detailed TA to highlight potential opportunities in the evenings, then digitallook to keep ontop of things during the day. Although DL (digitallook) is delayed 15 min, I am a swing/position trader taking positions for days and often weeks at a time, therefore live-streaming data is not a requirement here; although eventually when I get more serious I might consider upgrading.

Thanks to all that replied - still not decided - I have used digitallook so may well stick to that.
