Does Anyone Know when Virgin Holidays Website Gives a better % off

Hi,

We are looking at spend over 10K with Virgin, they have 5% off there website prices but i know sometimes they increase this to 10 or 15%.

Anyone know any ways i can get a Better discount or when they will next increase.

In the past they've done it on Xmas Day, Easter, Bank Holidays. I don't remember a 15% deal recently though; it's been 10%.

I usually find it's far cheaper to book what I want myself than take the VH packages, though I have booked VH recently as I had lots of Tesco vouchers. You don't get an online discount as well though.

Im getting married and the easiest way is to do it through Virgin, Plus their wedding packages are only £500.

I want to do a 3 centre

7 nights in Clearwater
3 Nights In Orlando
7 Nights in Bahamas

with the wedding package this is going to cost about or just over 5K

Now some ppl want to just come to the USA leg, so i got to try and get it as cheap as pos for them any ideas anyone ?

i cant join virgin flyer club you need to make 2 holidays in last 4 years.

there you go...you can join that, you can access some specials when you log in and its worth collecting the miles anyway(not sure if it discounts holidays but worth a look)

if youre spending 10k , id be cheeky and call virgin and ask if they negotiate discounts or try haggling at the travel agents...nothing to loose

or wouldnt it work out cheaper to book seperate flights and then rent a villa or seperate hotel , we used to always book virgin holidays but now kick ourselves as it can be done cheaper booking seperate and virging dont do alot for you

why dont you post how many people and for where/when and see what people can come up with

You cant join the Virgin Holidays Frequent Virgin Club, or whatever its called these days without making the holidays as you say.

You can however join Virgin Atlantics Flying Club, which is like an Air Miles thing, and one of its benefits is that you can have 10% off any Virgin Holidays booking......Ive done that twice in the past couple of years.

this offere ends 1st July, cant book it till new brochure is out on 17th July grrrrrrrrrrrrr then it goes down to 5% would that be on top of internet discount or not.

You used to be able to get 10% if you called from a Virgin mobile - don't know if that still works?

Just checked - it's 7.5%!
