Your choice is limited due to the fact you have not had a credit card be before, so you will have no credit history they can see. so it,s either cap 1 aqua, or vanquis. or maybes go to the bank you use for one of theirs!!

I think before getting a credit card, you need to address this problem. How exactly is someone getting details such that you need a new debit card, and what makes you think a credit card would be any less prone to whatever's happening on your current account?

thanks for the advice, regarding my a/c .my bank All/Lec put a stop on my debit card ,because some one tried to get 1p from carphone wharehouse using my card.it's the 2nd time over the past 3yrs.thought a credit card would be safer as it's the card providers money to start with.that's what i was told by someone.plus i think that you are insured if something like the problem i have .I think??

Would you be better off having a seperate bank account or savings account, if you are not comfortable with a credit card? You wouldn't have to worry about paying interest either!!
