capital gains tax on house being split into three

i bought three small cottages about 12 years ago and made them into one dwelling where i have lived since, i would now like to make them back into three cottages and sell them individually, when i do this am i liable for capital gains tax? and at what cost?, or is there a way round paying part or all of this tax?

Have you posted this on the cutting tax board?
I think there is a way around it but you must get advice from a good accountant. A few hundred pounds could save you thousands. We got bad advice from a rubbish accountant and a few hundred pounds cost us tens of thousands. You live and learn.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
