I have now shown the pics to Bri my hubby and we are going to actively look at the Rescue sites for a German Shepherd....And I have done reading & geography.. too !

if you go onto the futures for dogs website they do have a section which deals with german shepphards, (i dont know where you are ) but there is a lovely 8 month old gsd called keris she is absolutley lovley, im trying to stop myself getting her at th emoment lol. xnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0

hi all, thanks for all your good wishes and comments, can i just say though if any one is looking for a dog at the moment or is in the position to foster a dog near the kent area the this rescue is in need of help at the moment because they are overflowing with dogs that need homes, so if any one can help please take a look or just join for friendly advice, they are having a dog show on the 12th of july so fingers crossed for weather. x thanks again

Congratulations!! He looks wonderful! I've got 2 GS's (shortly to be 3 but don't tell OH) & 1x GD, all rescue... wouldn't have it any other way!
Perservere with classes, you will have a better relationship because of them.

yeah me too! I went to a rescue dog show with my Badger, and my mum and her new dog Cleo (also a rescue - who won reserve best in show - but she is stunning!) last weekend, and there were so many gorgeous happy dogs - it was lovely to see, but makes me feel even worse for the ones stuck in rescues (or worse, put to sleep).
There is a lovely little corgi x in the rescue I got Badger from, he has been there for ever, and he is just my sort of dog... if only I had more space, time and money!0
