Asda Mouldy Bread

Just a bit annoyed, so posting.
I had bought some bread from Asda, best before today. Just went to make breakfast of toast and it's got some quite large bright green mould on it.
So, eeewwwwww.
Can't take it back to complain/get a refund as that's a 5 mile round trip. So just slightly annoyed that it's gone off so quickly and all the money back guarantees in the world don't help if it'd cost you more to take it back!

Happy Sunday everybody... off to make noodles I guess.

It must be the weather.
I brought some rolls on Friday best before today. Yesterday evening I went to eat them and they had mould in them.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

I brought enough rolls to last me 2 days so I would have eaten it before they went off according to the "best before date."I'm not cynical I'm realistic

I keep bread in the fridge in the warm weather, it actually tells you as much on some loaves0

There was a programme on TV recently about eating "out of date" food. The presenter toasted a piece of green mouldy bread and put butter and marmalade on it - said it tasted fine. I believe he is still alive !0
