please could anybody tell me how many gamertags/profiles you can have on xbox live with a 12 month membership?

    As far as I know, just one. If you want additional gamertags to be able to access XBL, you need to buy a separate subscription. Although you can have as many gamertags as you want on Silver subscriptions
