DVI versus VGA

folks, hi need your advice again. i am thinking of purchasing this pc: i intend to use the pc for 'business' applications (wp, spreadsheets, and internet browsing, and occasional playing of dvds, and youtube video clips). The pc only has a vga out (this is the back of the pc). In your opinion, is this a concern to worry about? The monitor i intend to buy has both vga and dvi inputs. Thanks, as always, for all your help abd advice:)

If you're not doing any high quality graphics work, then VGA will be more than fine.

To be honest you could get a graphics card for £20 with a DVI out, the picture quality increase is worth the outlay.

Yes will be fine as long as you do not want / need digital quality output. (one might want this for high def gaming, high def media etc), otherwise I wouldn't worry. I'm not sure any integrated graphics solutions have dvi

Depends what you are looking at, I have a multi-monitor setup which uses both dvi and vga outputs, and I can assure you for most things you'd have to look in the properties to work out which monitor is on which out put, but as I say depends what you are looking at.
