Cash interest on my statement???

I also signed up to Betfair and used a credit card as I didn't realise about the interest thing or cash advance fees, but I pay off my card every month in full and on time and for the 3rd month in a row they're taking money off me. This time it's 50p. Last month, 56p and the month before, 50p.

Why are there's no instructions about this anywhere?

Tell us which card you have and someone will probably be able to show you on the T&Cs.

I've just overpaid my latest statement by £50. If that doesn't nuke it, nothing will! (I hope)

Thanks, but I don't understand the ongoing interest thing. And will the £50 I've overpaid kill it off for good? Ta.

I think most cards now have a clause warning against having a positive balance. I suspect that a few pounds wouldn't worry them. I usually round up my monthly payments to a round number of pounds and there have been no complaints yet. Maybe your £50 will make them panic. :T
