So DS was being all dramatic again today and decided to fall off a tall slide at the pub where friends of mine were having the party after their DD Christening. I grabbed him off the person who got to him first and he proceeded to throw up all over me-so I automatically went into 'CONCUSSION' mode-luckily, XOH showed up then and checked him over and said he was ok, it was just because he was upset. But I have to keep my eye on him apparently. I also have to go and wash puke out of hair. (DS also had a GRASS stain on the top of his head where he landed, lol!)
I swear I am going to be spending a great deal of time in A&E with that child...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

I've always said that about my DS too Bunny - he's always the one at the top of the tree, jumping off walls etc but seems to have survived unscathed so far. I hate watching him at play though...you don't want to make them scared of heights so don't want to shout out to be careful but sometimes it's just mad!Mortgage OP 2025 £7550/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Today had to be better than yesterday. Head gasket went on the car, whilst we were 80 miles from home. Spent 3 hours waiting for the recovery truck with an 11 month old, an 11 year old and a diabetic. The joys!0

Ask her for me Gemmzie

We didnt have any carrots anyhoo so I made a lemon drizzle cake - smells yummy
100g Rice Flour,
50g Soft Brown Sugar
50g Golden Syrup
75ml Sunflower Oil
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Bicarb of Soda
100g Carrots (grated)
And it's vegan and can be made wheat/gluten free with a quick change of baking powder to a wheat-free version.
It's gorgeous! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Thank you so much for that Gemmzie :A
I've already got rice flour, and was looking at it this afternoon wondering what the heck I could use it for :T
Apparently my lemon cake is very lemony - I think someone is missing the point
