Hi Jerry, I'm new to this too and after 2 days it has been unbelievable the amount of support and friends I have made.
Regarding the potential charging order against your property, is your property owned just by you? Also, who's name are the outstanding debts in?
Dont worry, I've had sleepless nights but it really doesnt do any good! You've now got support here!
Let me know mate!

As an emergency solution, I'd cancel the direct debit mandate online if possible, so you know it's done.
Then, again online, I'd set up a standing order to start on 27th July for £11.32 or the figure that you arrived at via the CCCS SOA & keep it set at that figure.
This should then give you until the 27th August to possibly make further representations to the court to have the monthly amount changed.
If you're with CCCS, keep in contact with them & use their advice.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

Noticed this on the payplan site:If you have been ordered to pay more than you can afford, you can write to the Court quoting your Case Number (which normally consists of 2 letters and 6 numbers) for redetermination of the payment/offer within 14 days of receiving judgment. This will not cost you anything. It is a good idea to enclose a copy of your financial statement with the offer asking for redetermination.
If your circumstances change at a later date and you can no longer afford the monthly payment to the Judgement, you can apply to vary the order using form N245. Once completed with the revised offer of payment, you should send the N245 form to the Court. You will have to send a £30.00 fee with this form, but if you receive benefits you should not have to pay but you will need to fill in a fee exemption form.
If the offer of payment is still too high for you to afford, it is important you seek the help of a money adviser as soon as possible. Once you default on a County Court Judgement, the creditor has more severe sanctions available such as instructing bailiffs to remove goods from your home, contacting your employer to arrange for their debt to be paid direct from your wages (Attachment of Earnings) or attempting to petition for your bankruptcy. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
