Need help with Debt !!!

Hi all,
I've just posted in the Mortgages section for some advice ,now I'm looking to you guys n gals for help.
As it stands we have 3 debts £3042,£1032, £986.
The first ,£3042, This company took us to county court and I sent back with the documents a SOA that I had done with the CCCS. I didnt hear anything for a couple of weeks and then got an order against me to pay £100 per month. I rang the court asking if they had recieved my documents and the lady checked for me only to tell me they hadn't turned up.
The second ,£1032, was at the same time so I sent the same copy up with their documents only to get the same thing, items not recieved.
I contacted the first company and they weren't interested in talking to me at all about a reduced payment plan.
The second company rang and talked to my wife asking what expendable income we had so she informed them of our situation explaining that we only have £90 per month to play with at the moment. Now I'm not sure but I think my wife gave them our sort code and account number to sort out a payment plan upon which today (saturday) we received a letter saying they would take £11.32 on the 27 july and then £90 thereafter as agreed with my wife.
If they take this £90 I wont be able to pay anyone else and will go into default with the other creditors,
I dont know what to do its really starting to make me feel ill and stressed.
Any advice gratefully received
Thanks
Jerry

Was it your sort code and account number ot the debit/credit card number?
Would calling the bank and informing them that you had lost the card stop this going through?

I don't suppose you send the documents to the court by recorded delivery? If you did you may be able to appeal the decision.

There will be some other around later in the day to help with trying to get the payments sorted. Can you post up your SOA so we can see if there's any savings to be made?

I'd contact the bank and get them to cancel this new direct debit and contact the company explaining what has happened.

Might also be worth editting your first post and changing the title to something like "CCJ payments and lost paperwork". You'll have a better chance of people with experience or knowledge viewing the thread then.

Do you bank online, if so cancel the direct debit yourself now.

    Hi Merlot,
I do bank online but i'm not sure if cancelling is the best thing to do as when I rang them back they said that they have applied for a a charge against the property and if we didnt pay what they wanted things would continue and this was the only way of stopping it going any further.

Bottom right of your first post, there should be an edit button.

You should be able to change the subject header from "Need help with Debt!!!"
