TBH, I'd rather have Sky. It has a wider range of channels and the packages start from £16 a month.

If you do want to get top-up TV though, they have an offer at the minute where they'll give you a 160 GB DVR box if you subscribe to their £9.99 a month package for 12 months, so now would be the time to get it.

we have sky for the living room.
this is only for my bedroom, as sky is a little expensive for me to pay atm, unless I get multiroom, but then there is the cost of box e.t.c

In that case I would just go with regular Freeview, though an extra Sky box is only £49, and then it would only be an extra £10 a month for the multiroom.

For sky, its pretty awkward, as I am at a room at the back, whereas the sat dish is at the front, therefore a long wire required!

That was the same with our multiroom. They just ran the wire around the outside of the house from the dish.

Do you want to watch somthing that isn't on on the main box? If not, you can get a magic eye and extra remote, you can feed the signal up the aerial and tune your tv into it. The magic eye allows you to control the sky box remotely.
