i've worked for soft furnishing shops/interior designers for years, its always worth going into local shops like these (not chains) and asking if they have any discontinued books or samples. I know that i was always happy to give them away! They can also send off for samples from fabric houses for you, normally free of charge. Also worth asking for any remants!!!

Well it's been nearly a month since the girl said she'd put them in the post for me and I still haven't got anything! How curious. I'll wait a bit longer and then e-mail again.

Many thanks for this post. I'm going to sew some Velcro to my swatches so they can go over the handles of my cases when I go away.

I got some through the post a while back....I then ordered some more and they arrived last week...the samples are gorgeous...mmmmmm!

My samples finally arrived! To my horror, these ones have "sample" stamped across them, haha.

Mine still haven't come, I sent an email, and the reply was I have to email what I ordered....................can't remember them now! :rolleyes::rolleyes:
