Are you going to Pearson airport or Jc Munroe (Hamilton, but they call it Toronto)? The only reason I am asking is that Pearson is the one that is nearest the city and JC Munroe is actually nearer Niagara. Have been to both as have relatives there.0

A good one if you want to go up the CN tower is to book a meal in the 360 restaurant and you get to go up for free.
I have been there a couple of times and the food is very nice!
The eaton center is a good shopping center. And st Jacobs market on front street is good. Do some lovelly fresh food.
I did a tour of the skydome (or rogers center its now called) and I think thats well worth it. Lots of info and it is amazing how big it is!

Myself and Mrs Baker went to Toronto last November for our honeymoon. We stayed at the Marriott Eaton Centre which was a lovely hotel, we got a cracking deal on it and it was perfectly located for everything.
We did as Jem8472 did and had a meal in 360 at the top of the CN Tower. Great food, service and view. The first time I have ever looked down onto a fireworks display!
Toronto is a great city to visit. This space has been intentionally left blank0 -

I second this one. You can book for a seat meal, and the lunch is quite affordable. The food is very nice, and the view is amazing!
Speaking of food, if you like Korean barbecues, there are a chain of these restaurants, which are fairly cheap.
A long walk down Queent Street West from Yonge Street is quite fun. There are lots of clothing stores down there, as well as others.0 -
thanks to you all for the replies - those of you who got good deals with your hotels did you book directly with the hotel itself or through someone like expedia -0

I booked on Marriott.com and then got the price down by using their 'Best Rate Guarantee'. PM me your dates and I'll see if there is anything available. This space has been intentionally left blank0

I would say a trip to Niagara would be good if you can manage it. I am not sure about public transport there as we went on a part escorted tour and it was arranged for us.
One place you must go to if you do go Niagara way is Niagara on the lake. It is a really lovelly old town type place on the shore of lake Ontario.go a google images search for pictures :-)JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
We stayed with relatives, but saw lots of Howard Johnson hotels over there and they seemed to be advertsisng cheap deals (think they may the travelodge of canada). My sister in law is due over from Canada soon to visit us and will ask her.0
