Does anyone have a "car" shop to do for BAI?

I got an email this evening saying that I have been given the shop to complete for TUESDAY. I'm not here over the weekend which leaves me two days to complete all the shops (6 in completely different places) and the reports.

I applied for it ages ago. That's so rude!
I had exactly the same thing and I am thinking of giving them a call to ask them to take it off my list it's a cluster of 11 and I have already fully booked the week. I dread even the thought of running around 11 shops in one day even if I only had to deliver the newspaper never mind haggle!!!

Why do Gap insist on cash payment on the burger shops when all locations seem to take cards? It's crazy because as soon as you ask for a receipt they know what the craic is!

RE has been garbage round my way recently. I asked them to tell me when jobs are uploaded in case I'm constantly missing them but got no reply.

Have just joined GFK and am liking the easy-peasy no purchase phone call ones for £5.50 a pop. They don't seem happy that I'm skipping all the bank jobs despite the fact I told them it's the compnay I work for! Must say next time I'll be tempted to accept them and give myself a good write up. I actually sat down with the MS and her report was absolute garbage.....I know for a fact she failed to follow the scenario and have provided my boss with the job notes to prove it!

So that's interesting, you're an mser who works at a bank that is currently being heavily msed! I feel a bit disappointed you found a report you so strongly suspect is fabrication since I feel loyalty to my fellow msing mse-ers in case it's one of them...or are we all too darned professional and savvy?

I think the ms company are struggling to fill these jobs, there are so many of them to do.

...and what is it with bare that they take forever to allocate? i've got some on there that have been pending for weeks (about 7). It doesn't make any sense when they then put pressure on people to do them within days. I much prefer tns and gfk when you can sort it in advance and plan your weeks.

7 jobs not seven weeks! more like 4 or 5 weeks though which is tardy enough

I might be wrong but I think different companies have different ideas about this and different online tests. I think there is something more regularised for people in US though, a kind of national standard?

I find Bare's allocation very strange too.........I cancelled one last week a few days before the deadline as I knew I wouldn't be able to do it if they did allocate it. I'll be pleased when I can self-assign some jobs. Much easier!

TNS were fine about rescheduling my visit so thats good. At least I had a good reason to change it :)

Cookinmummy - hope you had a good night out. I'm off to do my mobile phone job before picking DD up from my parents. I'd forgotten what it was like to have a "lie in". Had a great night out last night with DH. They did exotic meats so I had Bison - could have had camel, zebra, crocodile etc (sorry to any veggies out there!)

Got three jobs on today and have to take a picture of underground sandwich shop and thanks to go.on.smile I will be remembering to ask for a receipt!

Just had to turn down 8 jobs cos I am known at some of the outlets I was to visit - two of the outlets I visited for the BARE 'van' visits last week, and I get my car serviced at another!
