  • Ho hum - remember I said yesterday that I had received a lovely begging call from GYP to ask me specifically to do a mobile phone shop today. Well guess what? When I arrived THE SHOP WAS SHUT. It doesn't open on Sundays!! How peeved was I  If I was doing it I would have checked to make sure it was open but as they had specifically called me I "assumed" that they knew that it was open. I have e-mailed them to tell them and to see whether they will honour my fee or at least something to cover my mileage - what do you think. Happened to anyone else?

I've had similar ellie. I was begged to visit a shop but when I got there it wasn't open yet, as in still a building site. I received the payment but not the reimbursement. A couple of months later I was asked to go again, and checked the opening hours both on the briefing and with the client. When I got there it still closed - and the opening hours shown in the window were over hour later than the client and the brief notes from Gap showed. I emailed and explained. Got a very apologetic phone call from Oz, with a request I visit the following day - with double fee, plus milage (13 mile round trip!) for the wasted trip.

... and that made me consider what my Top 5 MS Companies would be, which are:

    1. Assosia 2. Optimum Contact 3. Onsite Research 4. GFK 5. RE

I registered with loads of Survey Companies too but my life has been taken over by Mystery Shopping so I just dont get time to do them anymore.

Just curious to know what everyone else's fave companies are?

Don't think Gap do phones (ie - you ring them they sack you ) You will have to email and wait the 4 days (if youre lucky) for them to get back to you ;)

Seriously tho I do hope you get it sorted asap x

    Hi
I posted a question a couple of days back about I problem I have with GAP refusing a payment on an electrical store visit. I am really cross about it and am not doing any more jobs for them if they do not sort this out. I have done every one of their begging phone call jobs and never had any problems with them before.

Has anyone else had any problems with product enquiry in electrical jobs?

Been MSing for a few months and had hardly any problems so really miffed with them. Rant over.......for now anyway.

    Hi
Has anyone had any problems with Gap refusing a payment? We are disagreeing on whether an electrical item comes under the category they asked me to enquire about. I am not happy!

What did you enquire about? You can PM me if you don't want to post on here, I have never had any problems with them but I have got an elec one coming up soon
