Anyone know if any of the MS companies list jobs over the weekend? I'm signed up with a few of them and I check them regularly but I'm never sure if it's worth checking over a weekend. As I've been visiting family over the last few weekends I've not been able to test my theories. Nothing so far today though.

Is it worth checking them over the weekends?

    Mine looks the same too.
Has anyone had any experience with RE not paying? Usually they are nice, so I'm not sure whether to take the risk and do the assignment or not. Oh well!

I'm still doing mine - I've got a drink and a food one - in the same pub.:T:T:T

I think drinks are up to £12, not sure on the food one though so am going to try to keep it low.

I'm not sure what the fee is either - one of mine says £0:confused: I'm hoping it's at least £5 for each one.;)
    Save me from spending...

Yes, I'm using firefox so that's obviously why abai isn't working! I'm on a Mac - silly question but I'm a complete non-techie. Can you get IE on a Mac or is that windows only?

Macs from a few years ago will have IE on them, newer 10.4 Tiger ones won't. It's terrible though! If you don't have it you can't download it anymore anyway. Iif Safari and Firefox are no good, Opera is another free browser you could try.

GfK definitely do put some on, on a Sat sometimes and have seen some Gap ones go on, on a Sun night (prob to do with some being put on in Oz) - don't think RE or GR do.

Keep an eye on the MS alert thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=781519&page=17

just completed my first mystery shop for about 18 months - way to draw attention to yourself!

I set off the alarms as i went in - the alst shop i went hadn't de-tagged my clothes, but oddly enough it hadn't set off their alarms!
  • Thanks! That's a big help.

Still not sure what to do about the timer. I may just have to avoid those type of jobs. My mobile is a fairly basic one so I don't think it does that kind of thing, and the lap timer we got beeps when you press it, and I think will only record one interval, so I wouldn't be able to then log the next timing point until I had looked at the time, noted it and re-set it - and I suspect that might give the game away!!!

Thanks for the info on OC. I won't hold my breath then!
Hi this is my first post on here...I also use a Mac and have not been able to use the ABAi site, but yesterday I found a site that has a download link for IE, it is an old version but it works and I have successfully been able to view jobs on ABAi using it, so here it is

    http://www.pure-mac.com/webb.html

scroll down the page a bit and you will find IE, there are also lots of other browsers on there

    Hope this helps!

Just done a snail job, and got home to an email saying that the fee was incorrect - so I checked and from being a VERY generous fee it is now no fee!! Really annoying.

you should refuse to accept that- you agreed the fee when you accepted the job. I would argue that one!

(I am writing this whilst sitting doing a TNS coffee job! :D)

That is so not on - have you contacted them to say you had already done the job by the time they sent the e-mail?

I've just done a computer shop job for GYP - got absolutely drenched - so fed up with this rain. Got a lovely begging phone call this morning as well asking me to do a mobile phone job tomorrow. Cause I said yes they gave me two petrol shop jobs and a small corner shop job. At least I get petrol and food reimbursed so I'm happy. Two of the shops are literally within a mile of where I live so not far to go and I needed petrol anyway. Happy days x

Re the post from a couple of pages back, any of you techies willing to advise about what is best for msing, PDA, Blackberry etc I am as much in the dark as the last poster but if something could make life easier I would be prepared to give it a whirl.
