....Then did the train ticket job. £102 for a ticket from Glasgow to Leicester return. Now our train station man knows me by now doing these and he is like "Oh darling you cant go running about in England now they all have guns down there. Make sure you take a personal alarm and have your mobile ready with 999 all ready to dial" "And don't you be talking to any strangers on that train and don't take lifts from anyone"

Now am a nervous wreck trying to get hold of the MS company to make sure they will pay up for the ticket. It is a lot of money to lay out. But yer man at the station he really made my day. He had me in stitches.

I wouldn't worry about GfK reimbursing for the tickets :) (assuming it's them) £102 is quite 'cheap' considering the purchase requirements for many of the scenarios - the most expensive ticket I had to buy for them was over £700! and in past years I have spent thousands for them and never had a problem with them reimbursing (so long as you have receipts scanned/copied in case tickets go astray in the post)

Leicester's a very nice place I'll have you know! :p

Oh Timmne I already know that. I went years ago and remember it as cherry blossom lined streets.

You try telling yer man from Scotrail that though.:rotfl:

He obviously sees me as an innocent abroad when in reality I am the female version of Billy Connolly.:rotfl:

Thank you for that Moi. That is reassuring.

Not at all a stupid question. As usual, the MS company has not used precise English/Australian.

From talking to them, the rule which they never break, no matter how desperate they are, is that they do not send the same shopper to the same shop twice in a row, without another shopper visiting it in between. I think this is what this convoluted sentence is designed to mean.

It's worth applying for any Gap jobs you fancy, though, as the system will reject you automatically if you are ineligible - I have always assumed that you don't get penalised for this automatic rejection. You cannot tell whether another shopper is due to visit 'your' shop since your original visit (not all jobs make it on to the job board). :D

I've done an underground sandwich with RE and now want to do it for Gap. The job number is the same through both firms. Will Gap still know if I'm eligible or not, or can I assume that it will be alright? There will be 2 weeks in between, but this is not a busy area judging by the time it takes for jobs to go. Help anyone??

As it is for a different company it should not matter. It is only a quick visit.

I'm really confused here - can someone help me please? I am trying to register with StoreChecker. I've completed the application form and clicked on Submit. It then brings up a page saying thank you for your application, click here to continue. But when I click here it just takes me to an application page with the same application I've just filled in.
