I have come across this really useful program recently called Refresher, it was free to download (https://www.myrefresher.co.uk) it lets you automatically refresh WebPages at custom intervals.
Useful for updating on-line auctions (Ebay) as well as sports results, web mail. You can also use a dual browser mode where you can view and navigate two different websites simultaneously, I use this for Ebay one browser refreshing and the other ready to press the place bid button. You can also program it to remind you or shut down the computer at a specific time.
It has saved my poor F5 button from getting that usual pounding!!!

If anyone uses Opera as a browser. This already has this feature built in to the right click menu.
For Firefox, there is a plugin that does this as well. Find the Reload Every plugin HERE .How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I Have just found another useful part of Refresher for Ebayers, if you highlight the time the Auction finishes on the Auction page (press Ctrl+R). It will then remind you 15 mins before the Auction finishes and will even give you a link to that auction page.
It is great when you are searching around Ebay and you find something you want to check back on before it ends. I hope this helpsThey have the internet on computers now!!!0
