just curious......sub card q

does having a sub prime CC look bad on your credit nfile? For example, i want to get the halifax ctandard at 27.9% so that i can take advantage of the offer of accessn to your credit file fior free for 12 months. i am going to be paying off in full, dont worry money savers!!!!

i have other credit which is "prime" but ihope it doesn't make make my credit file look bad.

any suggestions??

    Other lenders searching your file are not given the provider's name...only the credit information associated with it, ie balance, limit, payment history (ie, on time or not), etc.

    The name is only visible to you and the credit reference agencies themselves.

    YB what do other credit card companys see when you do a BT??
    do they see balance etc etc!!

    They don't "see" anything when you "do a BT".

    Yes, they'll see that, for example 'Egg Mastercard', but they don't do a credit search (so don't "see" anything else)...which is what I thought you meant.

    no i new about the search, just did not know what they seen, as when i done
    a BT the woman said was that an EGG Blue card i said no an EGG Money card.
    whats a blue card [ Apart from it being BLUE]

    The Egg Blue card was re-branded Egg Money in September 2005.
