I can so relate to that. Every day is one bad piece of news after another lately. One good thing today though - I picked up a scooter which will save me petrol and allow me to be more mobile without worry about petrol costs. I am hoping to save £60 'ish per month.0 -
Lemontree, it must be the weather then, my migraine is in its second day! So, couldn't go out and do audits, however foreign student has been out all day so haven't had to cook him any meals. Also sold an item on ebay for £9.00 profit.

Spending £36 on our weekly groceries (3rd week of menu planning) the last two weeks have been £80 and £84!!!!!
Cancelled SKY basic package and phone swapped phone from sky to virgin (saved £15 a month).
Emailed local district council to pay my c.tax over 12 instead of 10 months, which taking account of what has already been paid this month, saves £30 a month.
OH and I are chuffed that we are seeing new (and exciting) ways to stop spending (would say saving, but not really anyway near that yet).
LOL and thanks for a great thread.

Winning 2 tickets to a sporting event that I am going to next weekend at the Millenium stadium....have already purchased my tickets but the won ones will go on ebay and give me some more spending money! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
