I've had a lovely meal out with my DD. I sometimes feel I don't appreciate my children enough or spend quality time with them. She said to me over lunch, mum you look really pretty today, felt quite choked!

Aaaagh It's so nice when kids say something like that. Means so much.

It's like Louise's post when she said her son gave her a big cuddle. Aaaagh. Lovely.

What a lovely thread bunny! Thanks :) Just read through and makes you realise what a supportive, life changing site this is & good to have reminders of what is valuable & precious.
I've had a lovely week and it contained no work, time spent with my lovely mum, seeing the boys I nannied for 14 years ago and not paying for any of it (I'm so proud of em too!!), seeing Neil diamond & having a lovely dinner with Weezl & family first, made vanilla ice cream & its yummy (unlike previous ice cream disaster!), treated to facial & massage that were sheer bliss, getting a whole tray of strawberries for £6 which made tons of jam which I should sell for £20 profit, bumping into good friends and being treated to coffee & finally a lovely lie in, cuddle with puss cats, tidy house & chilling with a nice glass of wine! Heaven...(although trying not to think about the fact that I have to g back to w*** tomorrow).

My best thing today was waking up to find the new Dr Who had downloaded. :D So starting the day off watching that in bed with a cup of coffee was lovely.
That's what I'll be watching as soon as the millions of kids we are looking after have gone to sleep.......mmmmmmmm, Doctor Who...

  • well done to those that done the race for life today! I have mine in 3 weeks time.

The best thing to happen today is going on a long country walk with a guy I went on a blind date with on thursday!

Wasnt around yesterday so the best thing to happen yesterday was the same blind date meeting me for dinner and arriving with flowers and a bottle of wine for me! It made me feel special :)

(Edit he was a friend of a friend, so a stranger to me but known to friends so going on a country walk was in no way dangerous!!)
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
