The best thing that happened to me today was that I woke up after a lovely evening at the pub with my lovely mate BunnyInTheLights, who then cooked pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast! :T

Edit - oh lol, that sounds like we went on a date :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

This is a great thread!!! congratulations!
My highlights today have been watching my puppy run about like an idiot in the fields on her walk and selling some old mini magazines for £25 :-)0 -
My best thing today was being in Asda at the right time to grab some bargains at 3:45pm and whilst paying at the till hearing the announcer say that they had ONE Kodak digital photo frame reduced from £59 to £39. When I got there, they actually had TWO, one was a little bit scratched so I got that one for £29 and the other for £39 - so my parent's Christmas present is sorted, just thinking now of all the lovely pictures of my beloved DD I can put on there and how I'll keep updating it for them as she gets older.
I know Christmas is a long way off but I'm scarily skint these days and knowing that I've covered their "big" present (and naughtily bought myself one too, unless I get an attack of the money-guilt pangs and take it back for a refund) is giving me a warm glow. :T
Also - had 3 good friends over last night and we sat up drinking and nibbling until gone 3 this morning - and I didn't have a hangover this morning when I really deserved one:j
(sorry, bit of an essay).0 -
My best thing today was waking up to find the new Dr Who had downloaded.
So starting the day off watching that in bed with a cup of coffee was lovely.
And also finishing the first draft of a silly essay, and starting to feel a lot better about a much bigger one I have.
And having a NSD.
happy Sunday evening everyone!
xxx...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!
