is the halifax 12% account worth it?

hi all,
Ive just created an account with halifax for their regular savings account (which pays 10%). They say that if I move £5k into the nominated account (which is currently halifax web saver which is paying 4.3%), then they would bump this up to 12%. My £5k is currently in my hsbc esavings account (i cant seem to find the interest this is earning at the moment. i think its around 5%) My question is: is it worth moving the £5k from my hsbc account to my halifax account? I think a nominated account can only be with halifax. Maybe I can find a halifax savings account that offers a better interest rate for my nominated account.
Does this make sense?
thanks
