Fixed Rate Halifax ISA Saver - Any catch?

The Fixed Rate Halifax ISA Saver is currently offering 6.30% AER on the 1 year term.
Has anyone had any problems?
Put simply, should I expect to set one up easily, invest my £3600 and expect 6.30% AER on maturity without any hassle or catches?
Thanks - Tonome

No catch. You just need to be sure you don't need to access the money within the 12 months. And also give some thought to what you wish to do when it matures? As Halifax will convert it into a poorer paying variable rate ISA ... but will also give you the option of 'reinvesting' the proceeds into a further fixed rate term at whatever % rate is on offer at the time.
All my ISAs are fixed rate over 5 or 4 years and with Halifax ... no problems to date.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Thanks for that..
