I'm currently on Eon Online Extra Saver 5 tariff (elec 18.239p for first 225kw per quarter and then 10.206p) and gas is 4.57p for first 670kw per quarter and then drops to 2.913p. These prices include VAT.
I currently spend about £40 per month and wonder how much extra it will cost me to swop to a capped or fixed tariff with no cancellation fees?

I know I can move to Eon Price Protection to 2009, where the prices are capped. They are
Unit charge (pence per kWh) 4.890p for the first 670 kWh per quarter, and 3.116p thereafter 19.058p for the first 225 kWh per quarter, and 10.668p thereafter Discounts Direct debit customers receive a discount of 3% off their total annual bill. Dual fuel customers receive a discount of 6% off their total annual bill. Total annual discount available of 9% off total annual bill.
Can anyone tell me how much of an increase this will be in percentage terms, and if there is a cheaper fixed or capped tariff I can move to? My brain can't seem to do sums today! Thanks
