The mind boggles

Minimal details available, which is Barker's Estate Agents' way of seducing you into viewing utter crap, and I have no intention of looking at this one.

But it has a sauna room! In flipping Leicester! Have I fallen through some kind of wormhole, or is this something that would actually sell a property? Is that why it's priced above the ceiling for the road?

Had no idea it was so expensive up there, but looks okay to me too on the outside.

I also find the idea of a sauna room in a three bed semi a bit disturbing, but that's just me. Sure the local Scandinavian community will snap it up...:)

It is overpriced. Or so I thought. I don't know what sort of premium one would pay for a sauna.

I'd pay minus the cost of ripping it out and replacing it with something sensible ;)

Sounds like the sauna is like some sort of wetroom as there is no bathroom mentioned in the details?

Hahaha, it's not a sauna in Leicester.

Work the rest out for yourselves.

Ahh but the sauna deservedly adds so much value.

Check out this little terrace around my way - with it's own little mini-gym. Again makes the difference I'd say and well worth the hundreds of thousands in premium for it - although they are all asking similar prices for terraces on that fancy main road to the village, when same types of property set off the main road are 60% cheaper.

And to think that they say that violence on TV doesn't encourage violence in the real World - those property programmes & get rich quick type guff have certainly influenced half of Britain into thinking they're some kind of international playboys (& girls).

How can people who have to work for a living seriously get to the point where they think its normal, or desirable even to have a sauna room in a house on a Leicestershire housing estate? What next, a helipad on the front lawn?

The World has gone mad, especially this part of the World, Nu Labours totally phoney 21st Century Britain, where even the poor think they're rich, & the shelf stackers at Tesco have £30 million "property porfolios."

In 15 years time people will look back & despise this period just as we despise the Yuppie & loadsamoney era now.

What a shock some people are going to have over the next 18 months when they have to queue at soup kitchens to get a meal instead of dining out 3 times a week & sticking it all on the credit cards.

    Roll on the crash.

edit: It just occured to me that eating at soup kitchens would be classed as dining out - maybe NuLabour will be telling us were even better off then since we can dine out 7 days a week & it won't cost us a penny.

I quite like that house. Apart from the gym. And the weird layout. And the ludicrous price. And the fact I don't know where Hale is (near Hearty?).
