Investments for the kids

Good Morning,
I will begin by saying that I am a financial imbecile so please be kind. We are in the fortunate position of having £50,000 for each of our 2 children to invest. The children are aged 12 and 15 and they can't have the money until they reach the age of 22. Can someone please advise us on where to start looking to invest. We would like it to be as low risk as possible.
Thanks

Most peolpe will suggest having a talk with a few IFAs if you're looking to invest and not simply save.0

typically, you would be looking at investment trusts or unit trusts if investing is what you want to do.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Nffc, may I be a little bit inquisitive……………
You say the children won’t be able to touch the money until 22, how have you set this up? What sort of trust have you set up and how complex / difficult (or easy) was it achieve ??
Many thanks (in anticipation) cloud_dogPersonal Responsibility - Sad but True
