When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today i will:
It has been raining here most of the morning but starting to clear up now, glad as we are having some decking installed for the oldies and they are putting the posts etc in today, hope it stays dry:rolleyes:
Have a good day everyone, catch up with you all later.:D

Morning all, didn't get much done yesterday as i got a migraine from hell which is still with me today but is a bit clearer now. Its a bitty day for me today as i have two audits to be done, one this morning and one this evening and a mystery shop inbetween! However its all money at the end of the day!
So, today's dfw things:
-Do last bit on application form and send off
-Look for mystery shops
-Do any surveys i receive
-Sort through emails
-Work on presentation ideas
-Continue looking for a job
-Print out all jobs to contact on monday
-Do audit number 1
-Do mystery shop
-Audit cinema tonight
-Sort out all stuff for audits
-Do some matched betting
-Tidy bedroom
-Work out what's left to sort for business
Think thats it for me today, hope everyone has a great Saturday and that we get some sunshine later.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Morning all!
Not very sunny here, booo!
Today I have- done a talktalk survey from nectar (from the freebies board, get 100 nectar points and it took less than a minute, go to collect points under your nectar log in)
- sort our flat out with OH with cricket on in the background - it's so small and we have so much stuff (OK, I have so much stuff :rotfl: but hey, that's how I got into debt in the first place
) - Maybe some eBay and amazon listing but there will be piles of stuff to do, so that might be done tomorrow...
- go back to tesco and complain that they overcharged me 45p for marmite - was displayed as 2.14 and charged me 2.59, not impressed  as it's 2.07 in sainsburys 3 doors down and would have got it from there. Thinking of ending our beautiful friendship and sticking to sainsburys, don't mess with me and marmite.
- not spend anything - did my weekend shop in tesco last night and used all my food club tokens. Also did online wine order with double up coupons, works out 1 pound a bottle including delivery, which is what makes me reluctant to end said friendship

- check for mystery shops - they seem to be picking up

Hope the migraine shifts properly later, nothing worse than muddling through with a muzzy head. Another busy day for you:D
Thanks sophiesmum, am getting rather frustrated about being ill! I have had to cancel the mystery shop and reschedule the audits for tomorrow instead as my headache wont shift and it has left me feeling very sickly and unable to process info well, which isn't good for the audits i have planned:rotfl: Still can't stay down in the dumps about it, will just muddle through the day and see what i get done, more of a slow tortoise approach today!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
