Aww thanks to all that are worried about my carpet.....a bit of bicarb a vacuum cleaner and a whizz with the carpet cleaner and it is as good as new.

i was going to suggest hanging a picture, waist height?? hell yeh new fashion didn't ya know0

If it has only recently been painted - and you have some of the paint left, you can paint over it. Just remember to feather the edges in so it's not noticable.
Unfortunately we havent any of the paint left:mad: cant even remember the colour or a matchpot might have even been enough to cover it:rolleyes:
