Burning Music to MP3/WMA

I am trying to get about 140 or so tracks onto a CD for use in my car. I have all my music on my Pc and need some advice n how to achieve this using Media Player and my OS system is Vista. Can you help

Hi, Just copy (burn) your 140 or so tracks to the cd as data (mp3) and don't convert to music.
Media player ? ? I'm not at my Vista m/c.

Media player should give you the option to create an MP3 disc, it does in XP and can't see them removing the feature.

Stupid question but will your car CD player read MP3 CDs?

Yes the car will read MP3/WMA Cds it's just getting the solution that's trearing my hair out

You need to burn them as a data CD instead of an audio CD; I don't use Windows, but there should be an option either when you go to burn the CD, or in the preferences.
