If you scroll further down this page you'll come across MoneySaving OS............its a very helpful board with loads of tips on how to save money with meals etc.
For tips on how to save money with christmas and birthdays then this is the board to be on and there are a lot of 'sticky's at the top that could be useful.

Welcome Victoria,
It can be a bit daunting at first but I agree, the Old Style threads are brilliant. Start there I would say. Lots of recipes and ideas and challenges like: shopping challenge and don't throw food away challenge which have helped me lots. And the flylady thread on there as well, helping you to keep your house clean and organised.. Good luck, look forward to seeing your posts and believe me, you soon be addicted like the rest of us!0 -
thanks for the advice. I am going to do the July Shopping Challenge and reckon I will spend £320 (hopefully less) and keep looking at all the posts for other inspiration!0

Hi Victoria

You may already do this, but when I'm searching for particular info. or just when I come across a thread that interests me, I 'Subscribe' to it using the thread tools/options. This way I can just use the 'Quick Links' menu to show me my subscribed threads, and the threads with new posts will be bold and at the top.
I automatically subscribe to threads on which I post too. Again, you probably use this, but just in case you don't, tick/select/check the option to automatically Subscribe in the "Messaging & Notification" area of "Edit Options" in the "Settings & Options" menu (I chose the 'no email notification' option here!)
This can be helpful when you're feeling a bit tired/'aimless'/etc.. and don't have a particular thing in mind you want to look at.
The sheer amount of posts on here can be daunting _pale_0 -
