*Stingy* flowers from interflora

Just thought I'd see what you all think - the gf was ill earlier in the week, so I ordered her the "Summer Perfect Gift" from interflora...Cost £33 including same day delivery...

Went round the next day and was genuinely shocked at how small the thing is..there are 5 or 6 "main" flowers, then just "dressing" I guess.

In the picture on the site, there are 8 "main" flowers in shot, plus lots of little daisies, then around the same amount of dressing as she got...

I know that they cover this under "contents may vary" - but surely we must have some protection against them sending whatever they want?

Has anyone had experience of complaining about this kinda thing? Did you get anywhere?

I'm not a tight guy and am aware that interflora charge over the odds at the best of times, but this time it really is to the point where I feel they've taken the peewee somewhat...

    I had (well more my OH but I did the complaining!) a problem with interflora last valentines day.

    He'd ordered me a package which had 12 red roses, a bottle of bubbly & a lovely vase for the flowers. A giggling security guard brought the bouquet in - I took off the plastic stuff - and all the roses were dead!

    I called them, i was livid as my OH had gone to the effort of buying this, he'd spent a lot of money on it and I was determined that he should get a refund. I called them up, they were very nice, very embarrassed & they sent a replacement bunch of flowers to me, refunded half the amount onto his credit card & sent me some vouchers for the inconvenience and by way of apology. I was impressed. Give them a call, their CS were very good! Hope your girlfriend feels better now.

    (thanks for putting this up, I'd forgotten about those vouchers and am now going to use them!)
