£40,000 - where to put it for 4 months to get a good return?

I have a substantial amount of money left over from a loan but not sure where to put it to get a good return before I have to start repayments. I have 4 months, where's best to put £40,000 for such a short term investment?

Aye, you want a savings account rather than investments.

    Cash ISA 1st for £3600

£35,000 in a high interest savings account

The rest in your bank account to cover the 1st loan repayment or 2 or 3.
