Liquidation - Recourse to Credit Card Company

We've just learnt that the shop we bought all our equipment for our twins arrival in August (cot beds, prams, car seats, etc) has gone into liquidation.

We have not received anything from them (and it seems as if they have not paid the suppliers for months, thieving b'tards!).

We paid on our credit card, and was wondering if we are able to claim protection from the credit card company? This has been mentioned to me from several people, but I'm not clear if this is possible, or if what we need to do. Unsurprisingly, our CC company are a bit vague on what we need to do, and what they will do.

Has anyone got any insight into this? Any help would be gratefully received.

As long as you have spent over £100 you should be able to make a claim under Section 75 of the CCA
