Hi Road Hog.
You're right, a long way for me to come. You might want to try Optic-Kleer (Just Google them). They have most of the country covered and only do repairs. They are generally a good bunch of guys from what I hear and hopefully have somewhere in your area. Give their head office in Boston a ring. From what you say, a chip the size of yours should be no problem to repair and I would expect at least a 95-99 percent improvement although the longer you leave it the dirtier it can get inside so best to act sooner rather than later.
