hi
i wonder if i can do anything to claim my - intrest back?
we opened an account with the HSBC who are normal bank with, some time ago. which to my knowledge had no money in it for a long time, we then moved in nov05 and put in about 5,000 this amount was added to over time and is still being used... a couple of weeks ago we recived a letter form the HSBC saying we would now be getting intrest on this account....
oh
so for all this time wed not got any intrest on this account till this month.!!!
we didnt think that we wernt is this an error on our part or are we able to discuss this with HSBC and say why didnt you tell us we werent getting intrest ?
what do we do now or is the intrest lost for ever???:money:

Which type of account is it? I don't know of any that have been on sale for nearly 3 years which only just started to offer interest, at least not off the top of my head.I am a Chartered Financial Planner
