Flourescent lights in garage

Hi All!

Going to fit 6, 4' light units in the garage., assuming you think its enough, using either the B&Q or Wickes cheapest (around £8ish) non difuser types.

Garage is 4m X 6m

    Nothing on tv:rolleyes:
warm night, so went and measured my garage .... must get a life!
its 5.5 metres wide by 6.0 metres. It has four 5 ft tubes , plus an extra one over a workbench.

So you will have more than enough lights.

Painting the walls with a cheap white emulsion will aid the light in the garage too.

Already done it - used B&Q masonry paint in sandy colour. The ceilings has just been plasterboarded & painted white.

It's just the floor thats still as it was - plain concrete, but as soon as I see a floorpaint deal, it'll be done too!

Hope it's not a mains voltage lamp - they're lethal & need to be used with great care!!
