straightening kitchen plinths!

I have fitted my own kitchen recently, and unfortunately whilst storing the plinths, I lent them up against a wall for a few weeks and they have bowed.
now when fitted them stick out either end, the clips not man enough to hold them in.
I have tried bending them back by supporting them either end and putting a moderate weight in the middle, but it hasn't worked. So now I'm thinking of adding heat or water spray whilst bending them?
does any one have any suggestions,
Many thanks

I've got a couple spare, is your kitchen gloss white?
Seriously though, if you can wait just lean them the other way and keep checking and they will even out. I wouldn't heat or wet the plinths as they are made of chipboard and might not react well. To try and speed it up you could lean them horizontally between two objects, there will be more bending this way and they will bend back quicker. If you want a quick fix you could screw straight battens to the back between the legs and that will hopefully true them out.0 -
Adaze is right. Don't wet them or heat them. You will have to throw them out if you do. new ones might be an option. They are about £12 for 3m from Howdens.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
